Is wight lifting better for weight loss than aerobic activity?


Hi, I have always heard that aerobic activity is best for weight loss but some people I know say that in fact it is weight lifting that helps build muscle and rev up your metabolism. So which is it!!??

I been doing hardcore setup and running even eating right. and my abs still don't show whats the next level of abs workout's should i do at the gym or even at home?
