 Calves - Gastrocnemius/Soleus

ontribute to tension along the entire body such as: tight hamstrings; plantar area, low back and shoulder/neck tension/pain. If you wear high heels regularly, sit in a desk for a prolonged period of time or are an athlete try this simple stretch to help
· Stand facing a wall or solid structure.
· Step forward with one foot. Place the ball of this foot on the wall with its heel touching the floor.
· Make sure that knees, hips and shoulders are facing the same direction.
· Bring your hips towards the wall while squeezing the glute and quadriceps of the forward foot.
For the Soleus (lower calf) bend your knee slightly.
