My first couple of weeks have not been that productive. I've changed my diet some, but have not been working out as I intended. After this week my schedule opens up some where I should have more time to devote to getting back in shape. I've resigned to the fact that I will only concentrate on diet at this point and wait to add the exercise portion of my get in shape plan for next week.
Okay, I pretty much forgot all the rules today. Let's see, I drank coffee, ate a dohnut and had a nice large tex-mex lunch. I haven't been to the gym all week... not a very good start! I am committed to going to the gym tomorrow - we'll start with baby steps. I am also going to try and get there on Sunday. I'm hoping that sparks some momentum into next week and I am able to make it a couple of days.
Well, I started off great. I went to the store, bought some healthy groceries and went to the gym. However, while my diet has improved, I've not made the excercise thing a routine yet. I'm having a hard time fitting it into my day, which was a big concern when I started. I'm hoping that I can at least get to the gym three times a week, possibly Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'll start with that and see if I can improve from there.
