What is the proper way to detoxify you body?

I recommend that you consult with your doctor first before using any health treatment — including herbal supplements and natural remedies. If you are taking any medication, some herbs are contraindicative to certain medications.

However, here are a few simple ways to clean the system:

1. First, do a lifestyle check. If applies, eliminate alcohol, coffee, cigarettes, refined sugars,saturated fats and manage stress, all of which act as toxins in the body and are obstacles to your healing process.

2. Eat plenty of fiber, including brown rice and organically-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Beets, radishes, artichokes, garlic, lemon, broccoli, spirulina, seaweed and green tea are excellent detoxifying foods.

3. Drink plenty of 'pure' water. Chlorine is an antibiotic and can diminish our friendly gut flora.

4. Practice deep breathing. It allows oxygen to circulate more completely through your system.
Yoga or Stretching is great!

5. Transform stress by emphasizing positive emotions.

6. Sweat in a sauna so your body can eliminate wastes through perspiration and drink 'plenty' of pure water afterwards.

7. Finally, "Exercise" :-)
