This has been a great motivation to get back in shape. I have lost 24 pounds in the past 2 months. I still want to lose another 20 pounds , but at least now I am on the right track. Good luck to everyone!!
The food commericals are getting to me as well. I did not realize how affective those commericals for pancakes could be. Yesterday I almost went to pick up a gallon of ice cream after dropping off the movies I had rented. I even started driving towards the store when I stopped myself and just went home to my sugar free jello and cool whip. I think I have an addiction to jello now.
We are almost done. Everyone has done so great.
Up and down! I think I am hitting that plateau. One day I am 198 the next I am 200 then back down. Frustrating!
I finally hit 200 lbs today and am hoping after tonight's run to drop below 200. I am so excited. I am also planning to run my first 5k the 3.1 Bat Run in Austin on August 22. :)
This competition has been a great experience. In the beginning of June I weighed 222 lbs. As of today I am at 201 lbs. I want to thank my husband who has been a great support by working out with me and my wild crazy two year old that has discovered running from mommy is fun; I have lost some weight. I still have a ways to go but it is a great start.
Last week I didnt do so well. I found my self cheating. I did a little bit of back peddling but I am back on track.
I have not really lost anything or gained anything the past few days :(
Bad girl! I am feeling better but I think the weight I lost was water weight because I am back to my pre-sicky weight. I will keep trying. Too good to be true.
Feeling icky! I got really sick last night from something I ate. I did lose a couple of pounds.
Feeling better about myself. Took a day off from working out yesterday, but ate healthy. I will start running again today. It was nice someone noticed I lost weight.
Random thought: My almost 2 year old son said "I wuv oo" for the first time this morning. It made my day.
Not in the top 5, but feeling better about myself. I turned down warm chocolate chip cookies last night and hot the track for 4.25 miles this morning. It is nice have my hunger under control. :)

Low carb and working out seems to be working for me I have lost 6.6lbs since last Friday!
Started running the trail this week. A little walk/run actually feels pretty good.

I went to Jack in the Box for lunch and got a chicken salad. Figured I was doing good not ordering the Jumbo Jack Cheese Burger and Curly Fries. When I went to put the salad dressing on I read the nutrional info on the back of the 2oz. packet of bacon ranch dressing. The tiny 2oz. packet of dressing had 250 calories and 240 from FAT.
Okay, not sure what happened. Maybe the scale is broken but I lost 5lbs yesterday. Happy Day!!!
Another day. I didn't walk the track today, but tried to eat healthy. Yesterday they laid off over 3/4 of our work staff and I have had a drink or two tonight. I am only drinking wine. I am sure that none is better than some, but sometimes you need a little comfort. At least this time it isn't food. I am still motivated and plan too make a change in my lifestyle.
For breakfast I had a banana and one bagel with a little jelly. Then we walked 4 miles. I am feeling pretty good. I have lost 1 pound!!!!! Any little bit helps.
My husband and I went to weigh-in last night. Not good very not good! This morning I had 1/2 a bagel with 1/2 teaspoon of grape jelly and 1/2 cup of milk. My friend at work made zuchinni bread, so I had one slice of that so far. I guess that counts for all my carbs today. Does anyone know or where I can find out how many calories I should be eating based on my body fat percentage?
Yep, still hungry. I have been drinking water like a camel and I'm still hungry. I actually did not get up to walk this morning, but I did have a great salad for lunch. We won't talk about the Cheese Danish I had for breakfast, which I am pretty sure counts for most of today's calories. I need to walk at least 2 miles when I get home. My two-year loves the stroller. I plan to stop by to weigh in today.
I got up this morning at 5am and hit the track at the elementary school. I have to admit it wasn't that bad. I walked 2.25 miles and ran a few laps. By a few I mean exactly two, but it is a good start. When I got back home I had a bowl of corn flakes. Then on the way to drop off my son I picked up an energy drink. I know I probably shouldn't have gotten the drink. I will need to work on this. I packed my lunch for the day and included protein filled snacks. I am very excited about weighing in today and hope I can keep it up more than one day. Good luck to everyone!
