Walnuts provide 43% of the daily value (DV) for manganese and 20% DV for copper, as well as being an excellent source of those hard to find omega-3 fatty acids, with ΒΌ cup providing 91% DV for omega-3s, which provide cardiovascular protection, anti-inflammatory benefits and improved cognitive function.
