Wow! You've accomplished some good goals in the 3 months you have been trying! You see, what you're attempting to do is not easy and it takes a lot of work. Bonnie, what is your approximate height and weight? What results are you expecting? Why did you choose water aerobics? Is it because you have some previous injuries?! A few keys to successful weight loss: A food journal- writing down everything you eat helps keep you from being in denial if you do slip up from time to time. Consistency- It takes a while for the workouts to show their beautiful results. Keep up with the five days per week. Intensity and Progression- Remember that you have to keep progressing yourself into harder activities and classes. Be sure that your intensity when working out is challenging, yet doable. One other thing, consider having your bodyfat measured. It will help determine if you're gaining muscle and losing bodyfat, which is what you want. Consider answering the questions I've asked you and it will help me provide you with some more in-depth answers. I wish you well! Leslie Roberts, CPT |
Great Job!
You are right on track with your weight loss. By following Leslie's suggestions you will continue to progress. I'd like to ask what your food choices are like, as this will optimize your recovery and metabolism.
