my ankle is still jacked up so unfortuantely i'm not at 100% so i can't compete in a triathlon at the end of august. today is a very sad day:-(

now that the 4th of july weekend has passed...it's time to get back on track.
with my ankle still in pain, i tried to play soccer on sunday night. not sure what i was thinking, however i did score 2 goals :-) last night was tennis so i really need to take a few days off of the active sports. need to stick with the gym and not hurt myself anymore.

floating the river for the 4th of july weekend. i defintitely need to be careful in order to maintain. the resort has a gym so i will definitely wake up early and squeeze in a few workouts this weekend.

i had a few great workouts over the weekend. i'm super sore today :-(
i ate pretty well over the weekend as well however i did splurge on a sonic oreo blast last night (at least i got the regular size..not the large. ha ha)
it was a amazing and defintiely worth the extra cardio yesterday!!! p.s. dont tell my trainer. LOL

i'm great at maintaining however now it's time to pick it up a notch and focus on dropping a few lbs. i need to focus on eating clean and doing smart efficient workouts this weekend!!!

getting back to the gym feels amazing. since my injury i've been limited to exercising. i started back on the elliptical this week, which has been great. tonight i'm finally back working out with my trainer.
Bring it Landon!!! LOL

last night was my first day back working out with my trainer in 3 weeks since my injury. since my ankle is still sore all we did was upper body. i honestly do not think i could have done anymore push ups, dips, pull ups and shoulder press. my arms are jello today!!! i hate you landon...LOL j/k

i just started to go back to the gym with being off for close to 2 weeks, however all i can do is walk on the treadmill. i'm so ready for my ankle to be healed and i can get back to doing cardio & weight training :-)

so technically i'm not suppose to be working out because of my injury however my boyfriend and I went to Enchanted Rock in Frederickburg yesterday. OMG...we climbed the rock in 100 degree weather..not sure what we were thinking. it was definitely painful on my ankle to make the climb, however once we got to the top the view was amazing!! went to the gym today for a light workout. walked on the treadmill for an hour and then did 3200 meters on the row machine and about 15 min on the bike. ankle is still in pain but i feel great that i got to go to the gym :-)

i havent been to the gym all week due to my injury. i know i must be crazy, however i miss the gym already!! it is definitely a place where i go and destress from work & family. i cant wait until i finally get to step back into the gym.
TGIF...t minus 2 hours and 23 minutes until Happy Hour!! LOL

i went to the doctor today and got x-rays on my ankle. no fracture, however i have a medial ligament spain....a.k.a....my ankle freakin' hurts!!! the doctor said it will be 4-6 weeks for a full recovery :-( they said i can do light cardio at the end of next week. i guess i really have to focus on eating clean until i can start going back to the gym if i have any chance of losing weight.

i have been working out for about 1 1/2 years and i've lost about 60 lbs. i actually lost the majority of it in the first 6 months and have been working on maintaing this past year. i have been struggling with some injuries over the past few months which have hindered me from losing those last few pounds. i am still injured and not 100% recovered however i'm ready for these next two months so I can finally reach my goal :-)
