My question is how can I lose the stomach fat and love handles? I really am interesting in losing this, but I do not know how to go by on losing it. Can you provide me with any help on what I need to do as far as any special type of exercising?

This is probably the most common question we get as personal trainers--people wanting to know how to rid the abdominal area of fat.
The answer is to start off with a varied exercise program, working all of the major muscle groups and to include cardiovascular training as well as changing your diet to a more moderate calorie level. There's no special formula, magic pill, or specific exercise that will rid the abdominal area of fat. The fat accumulates in the abdominal area for certain types of people, but for everyone, it just takes a good program and diet to reduce the overall bodyfat to begin to see results in the abdominals, too.
The benefits of regular exercise are much more than just decreased bodyfat. Improved movement, mood, energy, health profile (blood pressure + cholesterol), diabetes prevention...the list goes on and on.
If you're doing no exercise at all, begin a walking program five days per week for 30 min each day and consider hiring a personal trainer to teach you how to safely carry out a strength training, cardiovascular and nutrition program to see the best results and prevent injury!
